Straight Jerk

We had a visitor to our little shop in Rigaud and he had some wonderful things to say about us.

Written in Mr. Fortin's original language of French, a translation to English might read:

I was cycling through Rigaud on the weekend and was suprised to discover in this rather ordinary-seeming little town; a hot sauce manufacturer!

Decorated with red peppers, the Peppermaster shop can be found in the heart of downtown Rigaud. Inside, pepper based sauces manufactured on site are displayed on little shelves like works of art in a museum. What could be more artisinale, the factory hides in the back of the store.

The presence of such a business in Rigaud is so out of the ordinary that one can only wonder how they manage to stay afloat. The company is the brainchild of a fellow who was raised in the Bahamas and who, against all odds, somehow ended up in Rigaud. I tried their Jerk marinade and found it to be fantastic.
